Southern Spoon Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup cornmeal
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon Crisco or bacon fat

Add boiling water to cornmeal, salt and fat to make a soft paste.

Add egg and baking powder. Bake in a greased pan at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
