Recipe for Old Fashioned Rice Pudding

1 pint milk
2 tablespoons rice (dry)
2 tablespoons sugar
grated rind of a lemon

Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

Place in casserole dish and bake at 325 degrees for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

Serve with cinnamon stick and lightly dust with cinnamon powder or top with whipped cream.

If you like, top with a couple of maraschino cherries!
Goes well with fruit and fruit juice.
